What is an X-Ray?
One of the most common forms of medical imaging, X-rays are a quick and effective way to help doctors determine the appropriate treatment plan for various conditions. X-rays can provide physicians with the information needed to provide a more in-depth diagnosis regarding potential internal conditions like broken bones, cancer, or pneumonia. There are several different types of x-rays that can be used to diagnose various issues, like bone X-rays to determine if a bone is broken or fractured and chest X-rays to diagnose pneumonia and other conditions. At Exceed Urgent Care, we offer digital X-ray services, which enables us to provide higher quality imagery and lower exposure radiation to our patients and our staff. Digital X-rays also allow us to provide you with a quicker reading of your results and diagnose the potential problem in a shorter amount of time.

What are common uses for X-Rays?
X-rays can be used to determine if a bone has been broken, chipped, or dislocated, as well as to determine if a broken bone has been set properly for optimal healing. We can also use X-rays to diagnose potential lung conditions, joint injuries, spinal defects, and/or locate foreign objects. The expert team at Exceed Urgent Care is equipped to safely perform an X-ray and provide you with an accurate reading and recommendation for treatment.
What can I expect?
One of our technicians will help you position yourself appropriately in order to provide the necessary view of the impacted area. While the X-ray is being performed, we will ask you to remain still in order to ensure that the quality of the image is not impacted. Some patients may require X-rays in multiple angles in order to get the best view of the impacted area and appropriately diagnose the issue.
